Ninja Equipment
Remember back when you were a kid and you saw that great martial arts flick on television? It was probably one of those classics with Chuck Norris sporting his masses of back hair. Yeah, those were the classics. Remember the one where he keeps talking to himself and the crazy ninjas just keep attacking? I believe it was called “The Octagon.”
Wow, was that ever cheesy and lame. However, at the time I think I loved it. I know I wanted all that great ninja equipment the bad guys carried. Ah, those were the good old days. I think we’ve all wanted to be a ninja at some point in our lives. It’s just one of those phases. What a lot of folks don’t know is that there are real ninjas out there with real ninja equipment.
Are you a potential ninja like Chris Farley was in that comedy several years back? That was a great film. Although it may have belittled the true essence of the ninja warrior a tad, that’s no big thing. It was still hilarious. What is a true ninja warrior anyway? Is it someone who goes out to the local flea market and purchases oodles of trashy ninja equipment?
Uh, I seriously doubt it. The truth is if you really want to know what being a ninja is about, then you must study the martial art called ninjitsu. Ah ha, you didn’t even think there was a valid art that went with these mythical characters, did you? Well there certainly is. It has been around for quite some time now. I actually purchased a book on it around a decade ago.
It depicts the true and realistic practices of a contemporary ninja, and discusses all the great ninja equipment they practice with. It’s quite interesting to say the least. Do I think the art of ninjitsu can vie with the modern day mixed martial arts you see in UFC and other pride fighting events? Heck no! However, if the ninja has his/her sword, I’m sure I would change my mind.
If you are studying to be a ninja or just want to purchase some cool ninja equipment, then I suggest that you delve into cyberspace. Oodles of ninja equipment is completely easy to find on the World-Wide-Web. Just do a Google search and you will be knee deep in it. However, if you are looking for real quality ninja equipment, then you will have to dig a little deeper. Good luck on your path to becoming a ninja.
